What the What? Decent Photos?

*Le gasp* I actually took some pics with a decent camera. I hafta go to a different computer to do this so it's kind of a pain. Anyways, to the WIPS...

I also started a hat. I've made one before for a friend for Christmas. It's one of the very few patterns I've bought...like 2 in all, but it's what she wanted for Christmas, and I liked it so much I'm making me one.

Still working on it. Now on to finished objects. Yes, I did indeed finish something. I kinda started and finished it really quickly, so it didn't have a chance to show up here.

(Fingerless Mitts)

I crocheted a minion hat for one of my room mates for Christmas and she adores it. She saw a crocheted version of some fingerless mits that were little minions and went nuts. I didn't like them cuz the crochet did not lend itself well to the project, so I decided to come up with a knit version. It's based on the linked pattern above, I just changed the colors and added a face.

Blarg. I worked hard on that first go through too. It looked bad, but I kept going and screwed everything up on the next repeat 4 rows in. I'm a noob at knitting so I just said, "Screw it!" and frogged the whole thing. At least I've made some progress on the garter double strandy scarf thing.

I forgot about that one when I was listing WIPS. I don't think I have a good yarn for it, but it's practice so, whatever.

One repeat down...so many more to go.

What else is on the list that I can work on? Crochet hurts my arm after a while. I think it's got nerve damage or something, which really sucks cuz several of my WIPs are crochet in nature. Boo. Let's see...think I'll work on the double stranded garter scarf. It uses a light blueish green and a shiney purple, both are too small to be worsted, which means I doubt I'll ever use them, so I put them together to create worsted and paired them with some size 11 knitting needles and off I went. It's all squishy and awesome now. I might update later if I get anywhere with it. Laters.

This one I've been working on for a while. It eats a lot of yarn, but I'd like to finish it one day.

Gonna be bunches of different purples. I've thought about pulling it all out and starting over, but I doubt I'll do that.
